A nursing supervisor for Harborview Medical Center reported that the injured Yakima woman in the vehicle that was struck remained in serious condition at the hospital in Seattle. The crash was reported about 3:20 p.m. Saturday in the 11900 block of Wide Hollow Road.

According to State troopers, Harris was westbound around a curve when his Dodge Intrepid crossed over the centerline and struck an eastbound Toyota Corolla nearly head-on. It is suspected by investigators that Harris was intoxicated at the time of the Washington car crash.

The woman who was driving the Corolla at the time of the collision is a 26 year old woman from Yakima. She was treated at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and released, a nursing supervisor said. An unnamed 1-year-old girl in the car was also treated at Memorial, but an update on her condition was not available.

According to authorities, all occupants were using seat belts or other legal restraints.
