Auto collision in Tukwila leaves one dead

Tukwila police reported that a 46-year-old man from Connecticut died Saturday morning after his sedan veered across traffic and was struck by an SUV.

The auto accident happened around 10:50 a.m. in the 13500 block of Tukwila International Boulevard.

According to police, te sedan was driving southbound when it left the road, returned to traffic and was struck on its passenger side by the SUV, which was driving northbound.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The passengers of the SUV were taken to Highline Medical Center in Burien. They were treated for minor injuries.

The SUV accident remains under investigation.
