Federal Way Rollover Accident and Passenger Ejection Injures Infant

Baby critically injured when ejected from car in auto accident in Federal Way

Early Monday morning in Federal Way, an 11-month-old boy was critically injured when he was ejected from a car during a crash. According to police, the crash occurred just before 12:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Southwest 356th Street.

Federal Way Police Department reported that the 30 year old man who was driving the car was also injured. He had to be extricated from the car. Both people were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Police reported that the boy may have suffered traumatic brain injury.

Officers think that the car was heading east on Southwest 356th Street when it lost control, rolled several times and came to rest upside down on an embankment.

An investigation into the crash is continuing.
