As a result of a three-car crash on Camano Island Wednesday morning, two people were hospitalized.
According to a Washington State Patrol press release, the accident occurred about 11 a.m. at E. Short Road and SE Camano Drive.
The Washington State Patrol press release stated that one of the vehicles, a minivan, stopped when a vehicle in front of it was making a U-turn. A third vehicle, a pickup truck towing a horse trailer, struck the minivan and went into a ditch.
Police are investigating whether speed was a factor.
